Welcome to the Daily Deviation Summary of the Emoticon Gallery from July 2011
First of all I want to apologize that I haven't featured that many Emotes in July
:filmcritic: by SpringlessClock
:filmcritic: by SpringlessClock is a charming little Emoticon! SpringlessClock did a great job on capturing the cinema feeling! Look at all the small details like the popcorn on the floor or the light reflects on their heads or the movie projector. I also enjoy the little pencil animation of the green emote, he really takes his job seriously. Now I am curious what kind of film they are watching...
Zombie town by izzy-the-hedgehog
SparklyDest said: "I'm a sucker for zombies. The red eyes are a nice touch and the whole set up gives the crazy feel of the Zombie Apocalypse. "
I also like that the pinkish emote in the background pretends to be dead when the zombies appear.
Far but friends by Katuend
IceXDragon said: " Far but friends by Katuend delivers a very strong message in a very clear and understanding way. She pixelled the entire thing amazingly, especially the globe! "
spring-sky said: " I can totally relate to that emote ..I have internet friends who understand me and know me more than my real-life friends. Katuend did amazing job with this piece ..I was astonished by the pixelling of the globe. "

a-kid-at-heart said: " Amusement Park by Mirz123 is a brilliant, fun and colorful piece. While it will no doubt be an instant hit in the pixel arts communities, I'm sure the rest of dA would appreciate the attention to detail and use of experiences to produce her milestone piece. "
bradleysays said: " The pixel work in this scene is visually stunning. I could literally sit and watch this over and over again. The smooth animation of the rollercoaster also makes this piece of art a top job!"
PatrickRuegheimer said: " Oh god, this blew me away! The animation is so incredible smooth and the pixeling from the whole piece is just epic!! "
At the beach by horber95
Sailor-Pikmin said: " An absolutely lovely visual emote, the colours and texture on "At the beach" by ~horber95 are just wonderful to look at! "
:devoblivion00 : said: " the pixeling is absolutely fantastic. (Also, I can never say no to a good beach.) "
:devClefairyKid : said: " The amount of detail that's been put into pixelling the elaborate background is really impressive, and definitely gets across the theme of summer! "
:Mmm... pancakes: by crula
The flipping animation of the pancake is excellent and I adore that he already imagines how the finished pancakes will look like. And don't we all love pancakes?

Something special!
Hai there! It's been ages since I wrote something here, but I have a special reason for this Journal! :eager: This Friday, 11th of November, @silverhammer and I are getting married, we have been together for 8 years and now it is time to tie the knot. I hope you are all doing well. Take care :tighthug:
Hello! Just a little heads up.
I am sorry to disappoint anybody who was looking forward to an emoticon advent calendar this year, but I just can't find any motivation for it. Eclipse just killed my interest for dA completely. Earlier today I was trying to find some Emotes, but it is now impossible to find anything at all.
