February EMTC! + 18 Entries! + CLOSED! Lots of great entries! Let the judging commence!
So, it's February again. The month of cupid, hearts, and single people rebelling against the materialistic importance put on Valentine's Day. I will let someone else host a contest with that theme. Me, I want to see darker pieces for this month. Now, this doesn't mean I want to see a bunch of emos lamenting about the sad state of their miserable lifes, although
those are completely acceptable. The theme, however, is much broader than that. This term is used to describe a form of architecture, a sub group of Germany, Medieval times, a romantic horror genre of fiction, as well as things relating to the macabre and grotesque. Show me some goth!
Definition for Gothic found here: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Gothic
Only new submissions for this. The emote must be submitted after th

Need Input for Message Center RevampIn the deviantWATCH, we would like to switch to Feeds vs. Messages you have to "X" away one by one.
Now, I could use a wide net of input for message center revamp, but really I'd like to start with a narrow view of just deviantWATCH.
The deviantWATCH lives within Messages, which contains within it Feedback, Notices, etc. as well. deviantWATCH messages come in like crazy in your message center once you are watching 20+ people. And of the folks reading my Journal, I know you guys tend to have over 100+ people that you +WATCH.
Help me understand something. Because if we go off and make changes, we're going to have a riot on our hands. And no one needs that kind of sadness in their lives:
Why can't we switch to feeds?
Feeds would effectively index YOUR deviantWATCH in to deviantART's search engine, so your deviantWATCH Deviations would have all of the filters and capabilities of the home page. Categories, Newest, Most Popular 24 hours, 1 week, 1 month, etc. BUT a
