Welcome to another Emoticon Appreciation day. Today we celebrate the existence of Emoticons on dA and the existence of Emotes in general. They bring us joy and they help to show our Emotions. You can celebrate this day, by using more Emotes than usual or you can participate in the events that I prepared for today. I hope you will have lots of fun.

I use this Journal as an Overview Journal for all the events that will happen today, so you don't miss any of them.

First of all I want to tell you that I won't announce a specific set of prizes, all I can say that I have 2500

and all of them will be used. Everybody who participates has the chance to win something (if you have the correct answer). The fastest deviants might get a few more points. ;D

Deadline of the Events.

Most of the Events will end at 11pm (Los Angeles time). on May 13
Because of mother's day I decided that the events will end 1 day later. So more deviants can participate.

Guess the songs.

(I created a few Emoticons based on song-titles. You have to guess which song I meant. If it isn't the song I meant, but still fitting to the Emote, you will win as well.) Deviants who guess the Artist/Band get bonus points.

I created 16 Emotes and you have to guess which song I wanted to display. I hope it isn't too difficult.

All Emotes can be found at the end of the Article, if you want to participate you have to visit the deviation and write your guess in the comment. You can add up to 3 Comments but only one guess for each comment. Like this:
The fastest with the correct answer will get more points than the 2nd fastest deviant.
The deviants with the most correct guesses will also win something.
And all of the other deviants who guessed the correct song will have the chance to win something.

Summary:
Comment on the deviation with your guess.
You have 3 guesses, 1 comment for each guess.

All you have to do is to pick one or more song titles and create an Emotes based on the title. It's up to you how you interpret it, you can do everything as long as it somehow fits to the song.
You can create as many Emotes as you want. (You can pick one song or you can create Emotes for all songs. You can even create several Emotes for one song.
If you have finished your Emoticon, write a comment on this Journal with your Emote. You can also send me a note.
Please include the song title in the Artist's comments.
The Deadline is May 19, you have one week to create your Emotes.

(I prepared two word Searches, 1 with 33 words and the other one with 17 words. You simply have to search for the words that are on the list)

Save the image on your computer and open it with any painting program. (Visit the sta.sh files and right click on the image and then "save image as")

Emoticon Maze

(I prepared 5 mazes, help the blue Emote to reach the party.)

A little blue Emotes tries to find the way to the Party, help him to find the party.

I prepared 5 Mazes, I hope they aren't too easy or too difficult.

You can just finish one or you can finish all of them, it's your choice.
The fastest deviants will get the most points, but all of the others have a chance to win something as well.

If you have finished a maze, submit them to your sta.sh and write a comment, with the link, on this Journal.

Scuzzle + Quiz

(I hid some Emotes on my page, those are linked to a page with a question. If you found all Emotes you will see that they link to another page.)

Scuzzle-QuizA Scuzzle is a scavenger hunt and a puzzle. I am not sure if you can consider this to be a real scuzzle.

Anyway I hid 10 Emoticons on my page, those Emoticons are linked to sta.sh pages where you can find a question.
(Important: Don't answer the question on the st.ash file, copy the question and your answer into a notepad file.)
These Emotes are also holding signs, there are letters on the signs. If you have found all Emoticons you will find a link to a sta.sh page, with the final question.
You have to answer all questions to be able to win the scuzzle-quiz, but you will also get points for each correct answer.
To make it easier, I added numbers to the Emoticons so you don't have to guess the correct sequence.
I will provide the template where you have to add the emoticons.
As soon as you have found all Emoticons, add them to the template. Then submit it to your sta.sh. Then you have to copy the questions and your answers into the Artist's Comments,
