The animation of this piece is very important, especially because of the idea. That being said, the artist didn't take any shortcuts with this piece, the amount of detail and quality put into the animation is outstanding, the smoothness of the animation and how exact the movements are between the puppet and emote is spot-on.May 13, 2013 by #EmoteADay

Conveyor Belt - Epic Version by ~Jibodeah, submitted on December 19, 2010.
This is a very nicely animated emote, everything from the belt movement to the poor emote getting repeatedly flattened and flung around is fluid and smooth. The idea is also very nicely executed, I specifically like how the artist made the animation loop as the emote getting flung off and getting back on instead of him just running infinitely on it.May 11, 2013 by #EmoteADay

Visual Purpose NaNoEmoTogether with `Mirz123, I am proud to present a new event hosted here at #NaNoEmo in the month of June.
Background
As many of you will know, this group, #NaNoEmo hosts a fun emote-a-day style challenge every November to match up with NaNoWriMo in the literature community. Over the last 2 years we have had a fair number of emoticonists taking part and some fantastic emotes appearing all through the designated month.
Whilst this is great for creating smaller or ‘chat friendly’ emotes, it is far harder to work on larger canvases in the given time scale. Although there is nothing stopping artists working emotes every day and producing a smaller quantity of emotes, the majority of participants opt for the more traditional approach of 30 emotes in 30 days.
We have therefore decided to launch a separate event in the month of June, known as VP NaNoEmo, designed specifically for Visual Purpose (VP) emotes.

Whatever could this theme mean? Well, I tell you, it can mean a LOT! As most of you know, or should know, June begins the Visual Purpose NaNoEmo. It was hinted to me it might be nice if the EMTC could reflect and encourage participation in this month long event. So I sat and thought and thought. It took a lot of thought-ing, but I finally came to an answer. STOCK! Some of you might endeavor on majestic journeys of pixelling for entries into the new NaNoEmo. If you do, you might need to reference a stock photo.

So, if you credit any kind of stock or resource in your deviation...it applies to this theme.

Font, pixel texture, emote bases....all of this is stock, and should be credited

{and if in your piece, qualifies for this theme}.

But, perhaps your skills aren't up to creating somet
